Retail/Distribution Centre

1,000,000m³/hr of air supplied into a 2,200,000sq/ft warehouse

Our customer asked us to deliver over 1,000,000m³/hr of air into a new purpose built 2,200,000 sq/ft warehouse in as few air handling units as possible. These units were to deliver fresh air to over 1,000 workers as well as provide over 1,500kW of heat, and over 4,000kW of coolth to keep the working environment comfortable. AHS delivered! Providing Air Handling Units with integrated indirect gas fired heaters and reverse cycle heat pumps within a lead time of only 15weeks.

19 HTM-03 compliant AHU’s all with integral service corridors

We were asked to provide 19 bespoke HTM-03 compliant Air Handling Units as part of a large scale hospital development. But, we were given a task. Assist the builder in delivering the cost savings required by the Trust by removing the plantroom level from the building, but still offer the facilities staff a safe and comfortable working environment to maintain the equipment. Integrated service corridors were fabricated to be sited alongside each AHU whilst still allowing full maintenance access to the components and ancillaries.

46 bespoke AHU’s for one of a UK university engineering building

AHS were selected to provide 46 purpose built Air Handling Units for a new Engineering Building for one of the UK’s largest universities. One of AHS’s largest orders in its’ 30 year history may have been a tall task for most manufacturers, but AHS’s production and contracts teams make light work of it all.

Stainless Steel AHU’s for Zone 2 ATEX area’s c/w H14 HEPA filtration

AHS have supplied multiple projects for a large pharmaceutical manufacturer, and their specification requirements are often extremely onerous. Most AHU’s supplied for this customer include welded 316grade Stainless Steel framework and inner panels and bulkheads, Class C leakage spec, galvanise after manufacture base frames, ATEX zone 2 components, gas tight dampers, H14 spec HEPA filtration, and all need to be witness tested at works prior to delivery.
